What Inspired this design?
The "Escudo" necklace, meaning "Shield" in Spanish, is inspired by classic Baroque coat of arms but reimagined with a simple, angular design. Traditionally a symbol of power and familial representation, this piece is meant to serve as a personal reminder of strength for the wearer. I also incorporated negative space into the design, allowing the gemstone to be viewed from different angles - a subtle detail that reflects light and colour beautifully onto the wearer.
